Thanks for wanting to know a little bit more about us.

East Coast Soundz & Auto Electrix Ltd was opened 30th November 2013 after the owners Pete and Karen decided to relocate back to Hawkes Bay.

"We love the bay! You cant beat the weather here, the lifestyle is relaxed and we have family here so it was a no brainer to come back home and do what we love. We have both always had a passion for the car scene especially the audio side of it. It has always been a dream to open up a specialist car audio store".

We also offer Auto Electrical Repairs and Servicing and are Napier's Exide Battery Mart agent as well as offering Professional Automotive Window Tinting. All these trades go hand in hand and all work nicely together within this industry.

We have also recognised the demand for residential and commercial window tinting so have expanded our services to include this also. If you are after a quote be sure to give Karen a email or phone call to arrange a time.

PETER HALLAM

Audio, auto electrical and battery application is Pete passion. Pete has been a qualified auto electrician for 15 years and been in and around the car audio scene for the past 22 years so you can be assured that he knows what he is talking about. Pete is also one of our Auto window tinters. Pete loves music - anything from the latest trap, big bass tracks to hip hop and old school rock, all going hand in hand with his natural passion and enthusiasm for having the best soundz in his vehicle. KAREN HALLAM

Karen is just as enthusiastic as the boys about audio and vehicle enhancements. I love the car scene, all aspects from drag racing, speedway, rally, to car shows and old school rides. Keegan loves the audio scene as much as us, and has a keen interest in sub box design and specifications, big bass and a general passion for automotive. Keegan is a awesome lateral thinker so has a keen eye for electrical fault finding, he is now taking the next step in his career with us and is starting his auto electrical apprenticeship.
